AC Hotel by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter

6/10 Okay

"The best part is the location of the AC Marriot but the front desk were not very helpful at times. Our rain shower did not work and they were slow to respond plus it did not work well after the maintenance person came. It was also very loud at night you could hear people partying and arguing in the hallway. I will not stay here again paid too much for yhe service I received."

"The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the overall guest experience was disappointing. When I arrived, there was no soap in the shower. During my stay, trash was not picked up and towels were not exchanged. In fact, whenever I needed fresh towels or additional toilet paper, I had to go to the front desk and get them myself. Several amenities that influenced my decision to stay here were unavailable. The arcade and swimming pool were both closed, which was especially disappointing since I was traveling with my children. Another major inconvenience was the parking validation process. Every time I left the parking garage during the week, I had to return to the front desk to have my parking validated again. The only exception was on Saturday and Sunday. This became frustrating and time-consuming throughout the stay. I also requested a late checkout and was told that was not available. The staff members I interacted with were polite, but between the missing room supplies, lack of housekeeping service, closed amenities, inability to obtain a late checkout, and the repeated parking validation requirement, the overall experience fell short of expectations and did not provide the level of convenience I expected for the price."

"location was awesome. Staff was okay, the guys from the door don’t even bother helping with the door when i trying so hard with my luggages, the hotel looks disgusting the moment we enter the lobby smells bad, carpet so dirty and smells really bad. On the 11th floor there’s a stinky smell. Our room looks really old dirty carpet, smells bad, not what i was expecting for the price i paid. Breakfast was expensive. Never booking with them again."

"First time in New Orleans and this hotel was perfect. Very elegant and centrally located to everything you want to do in the French Quarter. Only downside is the rooms are on the smaller side but everything about this hotel was great. Will definitely be staying here next time I visit"

The Royal Sonesta New Orleans

"I had an amazing solo trip. This is the perfect hotel for a solo traveler. It’s in the middle of everything, the food is amazing and the staff is attentive. If you’re hungry for breakfast, definitely get the crab Benedict or the shrimp etouffe. They were both very delicious. My only issue was I like my room to be cleaned every day and it was not. I think I probably needed to let them know at checkin or I should have called. The cleaning did knock on my door later so she could restock towels etc. My stay was still excellent. Kiki is an amazing bartender. The rest of the staff was amazing too."
