"We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel last week and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, especially considering the high price we paid for the stay.
The air conditioning in our room barely worked, leaving the room uncomfortably warm throughout our visit. On top of that, the air quality smelled heavily of mildew, which caused severe allergy symptoms during our stay.
The hot water situation was equally frustrating. We had to let the shower run for nearly 30 minutes before the water became warm enough to use, and when we reported it, staff simply blamed it on the building’s “old pipes” rather than offering a real solution or accommodation.
To make matters worse, we found blood stains on one of the pillows and eyelashes on the bed sheets upon arrival, which made us seriously question the cleanliness standards of the hotel.
Overall, we regret spending so much money to stay here. The location may be convenient, but the condition of the room, cleanliness concerns, and lack of resolution from staff made this an extremely disappointing experience."
