“It was very quaint. The lady gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. One of our rooms, the curtains wouldn’t close. We told her, but no one came to fix it. There weren’t any phones in the room to call the office. It was an older place but clean.”

“The jacuzzi tub was great to relax the muscles after a day of adventure and exploration although we unfortunately had to clean it ourselves before use as there were footprints with sand and dirt within it. The remainder of the room was clean other than the solid thick layer of dust upon the top of the head board. We didn't sleep well as the bed was too firm, it is what it is. The outside curb appeal around the building itself is full of weeds and the bushes need some attention.”

“We booked a river view room (online says stairs, but it’s 3 flights of stairs) but when we went in the room it was 80 degrees inside. Asked at the front desk & they said that’s was normal but they could move us. They moved us to Uncle Henry’s room, nice but smaller (not close to what we paid for…queen bed instead of king, not a suite, no whirlpool tub) but it was 71 degrees. Nice room but there was some mold on the bathroom ceiling & the bathroom vent was very dirty. Small refrigerator was...

“I slept like a baby! Sheets, 4-poster bed, the room was so comfy. Coffee, water in the living room. Very attentive when I called and even gave a superb dinner recommendation. As part of the BNB experience, brunch was excellent at the Duff Green Mansion and the tour of the Mansion is not to be missed. Great stay!!”
