"I am amazed. After 2 years since I visited Dominican Republic, I returned with my Fiancée to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We had an incredible time, 80% of that was to the ambiance, the incredible, top notch service we received from ALL staff members. From the servers in all restaurants to the bartenders, the check in personnel, the live entertainment staff team. We did not want to leave. It was a joke in paradise. Beautiful hotel, extremely clean and neat. The fact is delicious. If you want a perfect, quiet getaway this Palace is the place to go. "

"The staff couldn't be more friendly and eager to please the guests. Even though the hotel has minor things to improve, is kept really clean, staff is always working to maintain the cleanliness and tidying up after the guests. Landscaping is kept immaculate. The only thing I did not like about the hotel is that whithin the first days you arrive there is a dedicated team that is always trying to sell you either time shares in the hotel or VIP rooms, to the point that it gets annoying, i learned that if I told them that it was my last day they would leave me alone. That is the only negative thing I could say about the hotel. Food was magnificent, a lot of variety to choose from. The lazy river was great, it had a pool bar. Every night we had great shows. Bowling, take my advice, sign up and go to dinner and come back, the wait time is big. The beach was small but beautiful. What more can I say, you won't be disappointed if you book here. "

"The hotel is amazing and the staffs too. Although be careful with the sales guys as they will take a day in your vacation to sell their membership. This happens to my in laws, they've spent the whole morning till afternoon listening to the offers. Other than this, the hotel is really good. I'll try to breakdown some points: Rooms: very spacious (we were upgraded for free too!). the bathroom faucet and racks looks rusty though but overall good. We had a huge balcony with great view of one of the pools. Rooms are being cleaned EVERYDAY! Food: It is great! Specially the buffet area. lots of choices and they could also cook a dish right in front of you. Restaurant: Make sure to book them as soon as you checked in as they get booked pretty quickly! The best one we tried is The Cut. All in all, its good to experience the restaurants but the buffet area is a good option too. Swimming pools: They've got 3 main pools which are all amazing and looks clean. It was not crowded when we were there. They all have private pools. Beach: could have been amazing, but it was the seaweed season when we were here. We booked a yacht instead. Other facilities: They have game rooms, kids play area, gym and spa. We were able to use the first 2 which is a plus! my husband and son enjoyed these. Tours: The tour management at the hotel (Cesar) is amazing! very accommodating and helpful. You should book your tours with him if you are planning to do one. We did the Bavaro Tour. "

"The Fairmont was so much better than what I expected! Fun vibe inside & out! Location was perfect! It is located the beach, close to the airport & walkable to many other restaurants. Exceeded our expectations!! We stayed in a standard tower room, which was great. "
