“Clean and really helpful staff”

“The staff were really friendly and helpful even before we arrived. The secure parking area was a bonus! Our room had a great view of the ocean and was even bigger than expected. It was the perfect location for exploring the old harbour. Highly recommend booking here!”

“Awesome place , lovely host .”

“Localização perfeita! Equipe super prestativa”

“The hosts at Villa Venusta were warm and welcoming making us feel right at home after a long journey. A lovely room with a nice terrace to sit outside. A very comfortable bed, everything was spotlessly clean and shiny. The breakfast was delicious too. We loved how close the property was to the well maintained cliff path offering an easy stroll into town. Thoroughly recommend.”

“The ocean view was fabulous. Watched a humpback whale while we ate breakfast in the morning. The room was very comfortable and with the outdoor seating off our room I could have stayed at the room all day watching the ocean. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.”

“Har inget att klaga på. Ett trevligt boende med vacker utsikt.”

“Beautiful Estate, nice staff, good breakfast. The only minor drawback: we had some mold in the room. ”

“What made our stay truly memorable was the sincere hospitality — the staff greeted us warmly and attentively from the start. Every breakfast was flavorful, fresh, and skillfully presented.”

“Don't stay in room 204. Loud music and then traffic noise. Ruined our 1st night!”

“Our stay at Birkenhead House was the ultimate Hermanus retreat. From the warm, attentive team to the eclectic design and breathtaking floral displays, every detail left us feeling spoiled. Ideally situated steps from the beach and scenic walking routes, it was a paradise for nature lovers—complete with dozens of whale sightings, rich birdlife, and the striking indigenous flora of the Western Cape.”

“Very clean and neat, staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything needed was available and very well located. Thank you, will definitely be back!”

“Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tolle, große Zimmer, tolles Frühstücksbuffet und wunderschöner Golfplatz. Wir haben nur zu bemängeln, dass der Fitnessraum in die Jahre gekommen ist. Von 3 Laufbänder, ging nur 1. Das ist für die Größe des Hotels einfach zu wenig. Auch die Gymnastik Matten sollten mehrere da sein.”

“Great place!! Stellar staff, great location, overall a wonderful place in Hermanus!”
