Staff was very friendly and helpful. Christina at front desk gave tons of tips and recommendations! Multiple flights of stairs to get to our room, but the staff carried our luggage and check-in and check-out without us asking. "Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

We split our Santorini stay between two hotels, one in Firostefani and Remezzo Villas in Imerovigli. The first one in Firostefani was disappointing, despite good reviews on tripadvisor and hotels.com. Remezzo, in contrast, was amazing. We splurged on a pool suite and had a PERFECT view of the caldera, Oia, and the sunset, ALL TO OURSELVES. The staff, from the manager Costas to those who cleaned and served, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We chose the suite for a little extra room for not so much more money. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The bed was very comfortable, and there is even a selection of pillow types.
