Currently most of the Beechdrop boardwalk trail has been closed because falling limbs from ash trees infected with the invasive emerald ash borer have created safety hazards along the trail.

"We had a bit of an issue checking into our room on time when we arrived at 5pm due to a shortage of housekeepers. But, it was a 3-day holiday weekend during busy season and they were trying their best to keep up, and we were able to get into our room by 6pm. Our boys were entertained by the game room in the meantime (or we could have entered the pool area, but we didn’t want to drag all our bags back to the car). Once we got in, the room was very clean and we had a quiet and comfortable night. Breakfast was great and our boys loved the pool. "
