Nice hotel but the area looks very rundown, hence the reason for the high wall around me the entrance. Hotel and staff though were very pleasant and we had a nice stay there.

the property had its days. a little aging. i was upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. but the toilet had a bad smell all the time. the shower drain was very slow. the staff very helpful. my room at the 48th floor, was next to the elevator motors room. Loud all day and all night. other than that it was a great stay.

this was old and run down, carpet terribly stained, floor and bathroom dusty, mini fridge didn’t work, sink plug didn’t work, cupboard light gave me a shock (not properly insulated). very old and run down - not maintained. not a single chair or lounge in foyer. buffet breakfast was very poor. good location and that’s about it.

This 5 star property to me is probably 4 star at best? The hotel is actually quite nice but its abit run down. The air outside feels cleaner than my room. But overall i think its pretty great in terms of location amenities and its beautiful. BUT there is a day staff named Carine and a night staff guy with pony tail. They have VERY BAD SERVICE. Their service makes this hotel cheap like budget hotel. Carine’s attitude is very bad, doesnt greet or help n will make some remarks etc. The guy with pony tail hair, we happened to approach the counter to check something on 2 seperate nights, he doesnt greet, no smile, after hearing out queries jus look down and ignore us. Both times the colleague beside him have to answer out questions. This 2 staff ARE TERRIBLE.

More pros than cons

Regarding the room and the location, it was pretty great. However, i am in disbelief that a Hotel that hosts so many interionational guests has a very poor english speak staff. Front desk, maybe 2 girls speak english, the rest hardly, and most of the communitacion had to be through apps. The "spa" has no english speaking personel and pretty much MAKES YOU have to take a service in order to get what you need or want. As a tourist, tired of walking 8 hours straight, this is not the place to go. They dont really care about international guests it seems, as their services are not for us. Also, the restaurant offerings... dont eat there. Personel is very attentive, except when you call the operator. The hotel itself is at walking distance from many shopping malls and restaurants. The attached mall connects to the street's pedestrian bridge. In general, is a good stay value. Just, be warned about the big english language barrier. REgardless, i will stay here on my next trip.

The hotel appearance is nice and looks like a 5-star hotel. However, it needs to do some upgrade of the carpets due to normal wear and tear. In general, the hotel is nice and the price is very decent.
