"We were visiting Charleston for a wedding. We wanted close to the historic district and couldn’t have found a more perfect location. It was an easy walking distance to view the beautiful historic homes as well as getting to the Market area for shopping. Our events were on Isle of Palms and we zipped over there in approximately fifteen minutes both evenings. Perfect!! The hotel is spotless and the room was truly excellent. The staff and valet were extremely courteous and helpful. A big shout out...

"Cool, historic inn in a beautiful part of Charleston. Richard was a gracious host, and we enjoyed wine and charcuterie on the porch. A note re: our room. We booked a room that was on the "ground" floor, which was more or less the basement or carriage house floor. It was fine, but I envisioned something a little different. Also, as we were drifting off to sleep, there was a sound in the walls that sounded like scratching...almost like an animal was in the walls. But, all in all, we enjoyed...

"We booked our room last minute for a one night stopover from wintering in Florida. What a great room which actually was a well fitted 1 bedroom apt. So clean. Such nice amenities. We even had a secure parking spot with our bikes. Great location, a few blocks from King street. Would love to return!! "

"What a great place to stay, old world charm with modern amenities! Wonderful roof top bar! The lobby/lounge was very comfortable. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The valet dropped us off at our restaurant-the entire staff could not have been more accommodating!"

"This was a pleasant stay with a short drive to many attractions nearby. The breakfast was great each morning with a lot of variety. The room was a good size. Beds were comfortable but pillows were extremely flat. Room service did come each day and gave us new towels but kept forgetting to replace soap and tissues. The one day they did not make the bed. Overall it was a good stay for the 3 nights we were there and there are a lot of restaurants and stores around. Easy parking in the parking lot."
