"Hotel Schonegg in Wengen, Switzerland was amazing! First off, it rests in a beautiful small town on the edge of the Alps overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley. Second, the hotel is quiet, beautifully decorated and everything you’d want for a stay in Switzerland. We enjoyed a suite with large tub, shower and the most amazing views of the Alps. "This is a nice, old-fashioned, family-run hotel close by the lake shore, and about ten minutes walk from the rail stations and boat pier. Staff were nice and friendly and the hotel is clean, and quite basic - there was a good breakfast. A good option for anyone who wants a simple stay."
