"LOVE the cabin! There are just too many, too close together. Need to be spaced out more. Love that there are pet friendly cabins, but some people abuse that and bring 3-4 dogs, then don’t leash them! Max is supposed to be 2 and all should be leashed.
It is quiet at night, but rocket boat races in a small cove out front is not good. It’s a huge lake, can’t they race somewhere else?! So freaking loud!
It’s very safe. Love that there are gates up front and staff & police both patrol- day & night.
Desk staff & cleaning crew are lovely. Mini market is WAY overpriced for the convenience.
There are sugar packets and a few coffee pods, but no salt, pepper, or anything else.
Grass is kept mowed nicely, but excess branches are thrown in pasture behind cabins. I got a huge thorn all the way through the sole of my shoe that stuck into my foot walking through there! Ouch! It was nice to have a grill and picnic table for each cabin, and you can move the picnic table wherever you want it. The screen door should be able to latch from inside and doesn’t. My dog figured out she could push it open. You can latch it open but not closed.
