Our waiter, Alejandro, in the Breakfast was not polite at all and did not make us feel welcomed. We asked if we could change the egg for ham in the sandwich ,since I don’t eat egg, he said no, didn’t offer any other recommendations at all. Just no.
Service was slow, he never asked how the food was or if we liked it. I later ordered a cappuccino with 2 Splenda and he just pointed at the sugar, instead of verbally letting us know that we add it ourselves. My mother wanted to order a muffin, he said no because it was not available, however it was on the menu. We never got told beforehand that the muffins weren’t available.
We didn’t return to the cafe just because of this experience. It’s incredible that we got better service from the cafe around the corner than in the hotel we paid for. Disappointing.
However the ladies in the host stand were very nice and also the staff that brought us the food.

We took a guided fishing trip by Coy Devol and caught our limit of stripers by mid-morning. Great trip!
