What an amazing an unique place! Impecable location, room full of amenities and comfortable down to the detail. Staff is incredible; we fell In love with Saki who was our blessing serving us dinner and breakfast and making our kiddos feel unique. Highly recommend it!!

We booked two massages at 4 pm. The hotel forgot one of them. We were offered apologies but no compensation. The forgotten massage was given after dinner, not an ideal time. The shiatsu massage is done in your room on your bed. The spa massage was lovely and is done in the spa.

The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. Our private onsen was something out of a movie. And it’s a superb place for kids — many fun little treats everywhere. Very much recommend. However, if your kid is an adventurous eater, make sure they do not serve them the kids meal Kaiseki. It is definitely subpar fast food level. Pre-order the adult version because you can’t change on the spot.

Incredible attention to detail and service. Our room was impeccable and has all of the amenities you would need and want. Most of all, it was our sanctuary during a busy honeymoon trip - reminding us to slow down, sip tea, and take in the scenery - we only wish we could’ve stayed longer. We had an amazing stay at Byakudan. All the staff are friendly and helpful, food delicious, shuttle convenient, and the private onsen is DIVINE! It’s so relaxing with serene forest in front of you. It will definitely be our go to place whenever we go back to Hakone in the future.

My husband and I are both vegetarians, and the chef was able to make delicious vegetarian meals for us. The dinner we had was one of the best of our time in Japan. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room and private onsen were relaxing, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The staff went above and beyond by providing us a ride to the Open Air Museum and then to the train station. We had an incredible time and would very highly recommend staying here!!

Staying here was such a treat! Breakfast and dinner was a super fun and delicious experience! Wish we stayed for 2 nights instead of one! The hot spring was enjoyable and it almost felt like we were the only ones in the hotel depending on the times we walked around. Would definitely consider staying here again!
