Overall a great stay. There was a great selection at the bar, but the staff was not very friendly. Nice clean room, friendly staff at check-in, the seating personnel at the breakfast was not very friendly, but the staff at the breakfast was, nice selection at the breakfast, but missing fresh orange juice.

The man at the reception desk (forgive me for not knowing his name) was very exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. The spa and pool was quiet. The location would be difficult to beat. All in all I would rate this as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed in an executive room, which I highly recommend as an executive lounge is available throughout the day to grab a coffee, cold drinks or nibbles.

The hotel was in a great location. Very walkable from the city centre and several landmarks. Easy walk from the hamburg h g as well. Only issue we had was the air conditioning wasn’t working in our room

Mostly had a good stay

Great breakfast, nice pool and sauna area. However we ran out of toilet paper as it was not restocked, luckilly we had a roll of our own with us. Also, a white clothes-ware dissappeared from our room during our stay and instead we found an extra towel. Obviously just an accident/misstake, but I would have expected better handling and some kind of reimbursement when paying €250 / night than a "we did not find it". Piano bar also a nice spot in the evenings.

The Marriott is centrally located, within easy walking distance to the City Hall, the Hamburg Congress Centre where my conference was. It was a nice stroll to the Hauptbahnhof too. The room is lovely and the bed so comfortable. The hotel lobby is elegantly furnished. The buffet breakfast has a good spread. We were there for one week and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All the hotel staff were lovely and very helpful.

The hotel was lovely throughout, the pool, gym and sauna all great and excellent opening hours. Bar and lobby lovely places to sit. My only issue was there wasn’t any milk in the room for my drink, although the bar kindly gave this. The cost of breakfast was pricey when it is the same cost for adults and children. We therefore did not eat breakfast in the hotel
