"The first employee we talked to when trying to check in was rude. Her customer service skills could use some improvement. You have to pay a daily fee to park in the lot - not included in the price. The fee for having a pet was not included in our price through Expedia either. Had I have known it was going to cost extra for these things I would have shopped around a little more."

Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg

"We stayed at the property when we went to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. While this is a vacation club resort, holy crap the sales push is way too much for me. They commented to my husband "did you hear she said no to a gift card" I was really turned off by it all. The night before we left they called the room pushing for us to come to a "seminar" for another free night. I was like, leave us alone! It seems like most people come to the hotel and stay there as their vacation. Pool is very crowded with parents who don't watch their children. The rooms themselves were great. We had a two bedroom unit, the washer/dryer in the unit was great as well as the kitchen. We didn't use the deck as there were tree droppings all over it and the weather was crazy humid. Overall, it was a great stay, but get ready for the sales pitch, that was a big no thanks from us but as long as you either don't mind sitting through that or saying no, it's really a great location and price."
