โWe had a very pleasant stay at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn - a great welcome, good dinner and breakfast, quiet room. We were surprised at how full the restaurant was on a Tuesday evening for a country pub which isn't even in a hamlet! They must be doing something right.โ
โAfter a long motorbike trip from Plymouth to Harrogate my husband stayed here for a night half way he said it was an absolute gem and loved his room and bathroom. The pub was welcoming and friendly and had a food truck too. โ
โAte in the bar area. Excellent food and knowledgeable about gluten free requirements.
Room was well decorated and some nice finishing touches.
My only criticism was that the shower should be updatedโ
โLovely hosts - friendly and helpful. Bright, airy and very clean. Comfy bed. Loved the flapjack in the fridge! It was a very hot petiod in July - so did need fan on all night - and they had thought to have it on before we arrived. Parking space was a real bonus! โ
โNice stay - lovely meal in the restaurant. Friendly staff in the bar who were all very helpful.
Plenty of drinks available in the room with dolce gusto in room aswell.

โThe hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!โ
