"My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was affordable for the duration we stayed. The majority of this area (Mendocino/Ft. Bragg) is ridiculously expensive. We opted for an economic stay versus an expensive, luxury stay since we were going to spend very little time in our room. We stayed in room 319 on the second floor. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor and highway 1. Be forewarned, this hotel is definitely outdated, but it had everything we needed: it was fairly quiet, had a comfy bed, good water pressure, and was clean! Since our room was closer to the highway, it was a bit noisy with the sliding glass door open, but was fine once it was closed. It didn’t bother us at night. Your room will also not be turned in daily, but they give you plenty of towels and the garbage cans are big so it was fine for our stay. Overall, we we’e very satisfied and recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area."

"Parking was easy. We only interacted with the night employee and she was kind, and friendly. She gave great recommendations for local dining and was helpful. The property was clean overall, though the rooms were a bit dated (particularly the tub, sink). AC did not work in our room. This place is pet friendly."

"Small parking lot , a bit of a sewer smell around the sink , but not enough to complain about. Beautiful access to the beach. Friendly staff . Enough amenities , no onsite restaurant but plenty of great places near by. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Room was clean (but an overly strong fragrance cleaning solution), bed comfy. Toilet was ridiculously low; VERY uncomfortable for seniors. Amenities adequate. Fine for a night or two."

"Just do yourself a favor and get past the gaudy furniture, you’re not too modern and sophisticated to stay here. The property is old, dated, and could use some cosmetic old. However, the location is the bread and butter of this hotels "

"The room was very clean, the view was amazing as well as the trail right off our patio. The front desk was not very welcoming this trip. We have stayed here before and had a more friendly interactions with the office. This is our favorite place to stay and will definitely be back"

"Couple of minor plumbing issues, but the place was real nice. I told Manager about the leaky faucet and wiggly toilet seat. He was very grateful. Good man."
