“Close proximity to the train station which was essential for our onward travel to Stansted . The staff were friendly , the rooms, although slightly dated , were spotless & the bed comfortable. The location was really pretty being on the River Stort . We made use of the onsite cafe / bar. then took an evening stroll along the river bank . It would have suited us to have breakfast in the cafe but it was closed the following morning for a deep clean , which just shows cleanliness of the place...

“It’s so pretty and comfortable here and great value for money. Friendly staff, lovely chocolate on the pillow, free parking and a nice pub (we didn’t use but would do next time) ”

“Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. ”
