โHonestly cannot speak highly of Tewinbury Farm Hotel and The lake view cabins they are such an amazing experience for just unwinding and having nature just on your doorstep. The cabin has everything you want, the bath tub is great to relax in and overlook the lake and then once your relaxed there head to the bed and enjoy a very comfortable bed. Already wanting to go back there and the staff went above and beyond giving me the Cornflower room which is the room i stayed previously and requested...
โThe pub abd the associated guest rooms are excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the A10 routes to London or Cambridge. The local town of Ware is a gem for dining and shopping.โ
โClose proximity to the train station which was essential for our onward travel to Stansted .
The staff were friendly , the rooms, although slightly dated , were spotless & the bed comfortable.
The location was really pretty being on the River Stort . We made use of the onsite cafe / bar. then took an evening stroll along the river bank .
It would have suited us to have breakfast
in the cafe but it was closed the following morning for a deep clean , which just shows
cleanliness of the place...
โThe Riffle Volunteer, is a lovely old English Pub, The Manager, and The Staff, are Fantastic!! And went above and beyond. The Rooms are Clean, but basic and could do with a
lick of paint to freshen their up. But apart from
that it's a charming little tradition pub. The outside garden is lovely, and there is parking, but it's a small car park.
But i loved it.
โ
โNear tube station only walking 5min and lots of option to go by bus as well.
The staff is so helpful and kind that i never met in London before.
Hotel is new and quite good condition of course.
Parking is not free that cost 15 pound per 24 hour. โ
โRoom was very hot, couldโve done with a fan as having the windows open was extremely noisy. Got woken up by bus garage being directly outside. This couldโve been avoided if a fan was available in the room.
Room was a little dirty, dust everywhere and walls had marks up them. Bins hadnโt been emptied. โ
