Clean and friendly, and a nice restaurant for dinner. We stayed in West Lodge Park Hotel for old time’s sake, as we used to live in London and attended a dinner+concert series there. It’s on a charming country-style estate, run by the same family, near Cockfosters Underground Station. So it’s within easy reach of central London. Trent Country Park next door has great walking trails for humans and dogs. West Lodge is a bit tired, but may be doing some renovations.

Excellent in every way

Place is stunning the building and grounds are immaculate and with a great deal of history to read and see. Checked in late and the night manager Ben was superb a lovely man who opened the bar for us for a quick pint. All of the staff were excellent I cannot rate highly enough and will certainly be staying again
