“A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff.”

“Like - Good Breakfast included Dislike: Very small room with barely enough space to move around. No space to store luggage. Not even a box of Kleenex was provided. No extra toilet paper in the room. I had to go and ask for more, and they only provided one additional roll. Very limited number of towels.”

“Hotel and staff were extremely helpful. Never had any issues while staying here. Bed was super comfortable, and the room was huge for what i expected. Not sure why the shower was a foot higher than the floor, and to get out was quite dangerous when your wet, and the floor is damp. But the rooms are excellent. I stayed on the 3rd floor.
