The hotel and staff are excellent. The outside property could use some clean up. The pool was sparkling clean. The back courtyard could be beautiful if it was maintained properly.

Second time that I have stayed here in the last month. Property is convenient to I-74. Rooms need to have charging units in them (USB or similar). Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Check in was much faster than a few weeks ago. Would stay again.

Check in was quite slow, clerk had difficulty pulling up my reservation which was booked and paid for online. Email received from hotel was under a different company and showed a balance due. Subsequent receipt did indicate that the room was paid for. Breakfast quite good with many options. Quiet location far enough away from I-74 so that noise wasn't an issue.

Just "okay"
Any staff that I came by was nice and said hi. The hotel is a little older and outdated. With that comes the normal deterioration of things. Items that should be on a schedule to have a thorough clean every 6 months or something has not happened. So the cleanliness is relatively good, but by no means great. I was on the second floor. The walls and ceiling are thin. I heard people in the hall until 1:00 a.m. the people directly above my room were up and down pacing or using the bathroom a lot or something throughout the night. I woke up many times by the footsteps above me. I did not use the pool area because they do not have a hot tub. That is what I use the pool area for. Although they have a chalkboard sign in the lobby stating specifics of the breakfast items, the breakfast boils down to basic scrambled eggs, steamed potatoes, biscuits, sausage links, and sausage gravy. I love my gravy. For the setup, the gravy had good flavor. Unfortunately, they did not get the gravy warming soon enough so it was very cold on the items I put it on. I was trying to decide between a few hotels in this area. In the end, I decided on this location because of the restaurants within walking distance. Even with that said, I think I will probably try a hotel on the other side of the interstate next time I'm here.

The pool was super warm, our stay overall was a good experience. We did have to wait around for about an hour after the published check-in time for our room to be ready so that was not awesome.

Friendly staff allowed me to check in early before being picked up for a gathering. Overall cleanliness was good but the room had a musty/smokey smell. It was supposedly a non smoking room but don't know if it might not have been in the past. Decent breakfast (free) for the price

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. My 7 year old was so happy to swim in the pool, and the bed was pretty comfy. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast options. However, the room smelled VERY strongly of mildew. It was a king suite with a whirlpool in room. I suggest the hotel make the tiled area around the tub MUCH larger to prevent wet bodies and water from dripping on the carpet. Yuck. The rugs in the hallways looked pretty stained up too. Could definitely use some new carpeting throughout.
