"Clean room, lots of free parking, great location in heart of town and beneath Montgomery Castle. The staff were lovely, food was excellent with priority on using local ingredients and beer and wine. Superb value for money as well. Would not hesitate to return to The Dragon Hotel in future!"

Every room is thoughtfully styled, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cosy – you can really tell how much care has gone into creating such a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic, with high-quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. Combined with the peaceful surroundings, it made for a truly memorable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Old Stores B&B and will definitely be returning. A real gem!"

"The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early every morning. And lastly to add there was a sticky fly trap hanging abaove the kitchen filled with flies which i felt was unhygenic as they kept falling off. Contacted the property regarding these matters but no response."
