The Wildwood Hotel

"Spacious Rooms! Friendly Staff! Quiet setting comfy couch and seat as well as bed! Hot tub a little small and pool more of a soaking pool but was great for our needs! Air worked great, had a little trouble with the dryer but the repairs were being made in the morning we will definitely will be back it was a pleasant ending to a eventful family reunion perfect place to unwind lots of local eateries - even a movie theater across the street if you are so inclined- close enough to St. Louis to come and go with ease! A+ oh great air conditioning as well it was well over 90 outside and you wouldn’t have even known! It’s not brand new but understated plush!"

"Very nice hotel/casino with an outstanding amphitheatre for major concerts. The restaurant we chose was just OK. The various amenities are nice but extremely pricey. Definitely give the shuttle services 5 stars between the hotel and the amphitheatre. Room was clean except for some trash left under the sink. Beds comfy. Fridge in room didn’t work."

"I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The value is good - a better than expected hotel for the price. There were 2 issues for this last stay. I had a room with an adjacent wall to the elevator area, and the elevator is very loud and clunky when the door opens and shuts. I could hear it all day and all night long (good thing I had good earplugs). Make sure to get a room away from the elevator. Also, the cable tv system is a mess. The channels don't match what the cable guide on the TV says nor what the icon in the corner of the screen says. Also, many of the channels they're supposed to have say "no signal." Not a huge deal but definitely annoying. A simple piece of paper in the room which lists the real channels would certainly help."
