"Property is in a good location for the parks and has a good restaurant and bar. Biggest issue for me was my room backed on to the lift shaft which meant I had a very noisy stay and trouble sleeping. I asked for a room change but hotel was full and staff really didn’t care."

"Stayed here for a Universal Studios trip with my partner. Hotel was in walking proximity to the park and even included a free shuttle. Parking fee was a little expensive and we didn't try any other amenities, but we enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Will stay here again."

"I've stayed at Hotel Carmel a few times now and every time, it's been great! It's in a central area located just a few minutes walk from pretty much anything! It's just a few minutes from the Promenade or a few minutes from the pier. It's a great hotel to stay in!"

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and throughout our stay, it felt like they genuinely went above and beyond to accommodate us. It wasn’t just the big gestures, but also the small details that made a difference. I mentioned at check-in that it was my wife’s birthday, and the team completely exceeded our expectations. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite, and there was even a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. Needless to say, they made us feel very special. The only small note is that the hotel itself is a bit older. However, it didn’t take away from the experience at all …. the ambiance, service, and overall atmosphere more than made up for it. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Staff and spirit of hospitality are in constant supply at Centric. Emerson's service for our birthday party made it perfect. He was patient and anticipated each guest's desires. He helped me feel like I was a great hostess! Manager looked for ways to help us feel at home. Location is convenient and rooms have great orientations towards the ocean and city - not far from beach - far enough to enjoy utterly quiet sleep hours. Nice facilities. Bar and food offerings are well prepared. Good for pleasure and working visits for me."
