This property truly reflects love and attention to detail! Although it’s an older building, it has been beautifully renovated with modern updates that make it feel fresh and inviting. The amenities were excellent, but the staff—especially Rosalie—made the experience truly top-tier. Her hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. You will not regret staying here! Highly recommend!

we stayed for one night on our anniversary. it was wonderful hotel was located in a great area close to the beach and resturants. beautigul lobby and all staff was wonderful. room was simple but nice. bed was comfortable. everything was clean. outside "welness" was small and great - (wish there was an option to get served drinks there though) but we had a wonderful time. they also spoiled us with champagne and fruit for our anni. the resturant on the top floor was fabulous overall 5 stars all around

Top class hotel in ideal location. Very clean and our room was very large with a walk in wardrobe which was superb. All the family enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a great place to stay in Santa Monica.

The Huntley is always immaculate and the rooms are elegantly decorated with great views. The hotel is quiet, ideally located near great restaurants and attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Penthouse Restaurant has an excellent breakfast menu with amazing views of the city and ocean. The only negative is the taxes and fees that really add up. I don't think it's a hotel issue and more of a state regulation. But, it doesn't stop us from staying there. We travel to Santa Monica a couple times and year and will continue to stay at the Huntley. Traveler Tip: Try Wally's restaurant and wine bar 2 blocks south of the hotel. They have great food and a spectacular selection of wine and spirits.

Beautifully designed hotel in a convenient location in Santa Monica. The staff were polite and helpful. Surprised there wasn't even a single bottle of complimentary water in the room, and even a note saying 'if you pick anything from the minibar for over 60 seconds it will be charged to your room'. Comfortable room with a large bathroom but would expect more at this rate. The restaurant on the rooftop has outstanding views of Santa Monica and the beach. Breakfast was wonderful. Was only there briefly for a night but it felt a little soulless. It's all about the aesthetic.

The hotel is excellent in every respect and sits in a perfect location to enjoy Santa Monica. The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant on the 17th floor has really good food and drinks as well as beautiful views of the beach and and the city. Room service menu is also very good. My wife and loved it.

I liked the overall vibe and location, and the spa felt very private, just like home. However, I didn't like the view. Instead of a city view, my window overlooked trash and garbage bins. I wish I had known it was possible to get that specific view because I wouldn't have booked it - even with a steep discount.

Amazing location and staff. Our little family, with two kids under 10, had a great time — clean rooms, good amenities. The highlight was the kind, helpful staff — who were always friendly and proactively helpful. The only knocks on our stay was the long elevator delays due to two elevators being down + they didn’t have enough bikes for us to use … which was odd for a weekday in the non-peak season. Not sure why they promote free courtesy bikes if they don’t have more than 6 total for 200+ rooms. I’d probably stay here again. The bikes being more readily available would’ve made that a definitely.

My daughter and I stayed here for two days before flew to Japan. The staff were very accommodating, pleasant and knowledgeable. The room was beautiful and the amenities were wonderful. I would 100% recommend. Please note there is a $45 amenity fee per day only thing that took me by surprise.
