My husband and I were here a few months ago and were pleasantly surprised. Not a five star but everyone was helpful and kind, rooms were clean and cozy. I brought my sister this time and embarrassed is an understatement. No hot water, chipped paint and broken closet. The noise was unbearable. Needless to say, unfortunately we won’t be back.

Great stay at El Naranjo.

The hotel is in a great area and very accessible. The hotel is very new and well Kept. The rooms are large with a large bathroom and walk-in shower. We used it for some pre-wedding preparations and pictures. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The comfort and modern style of the room is a great value for the price.

Very nice place in the center of Higuey, just one block away from basilica la Altagracia. Very clean all over. Bed very comfortable and ac worked fantastically. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Totally recommend id you just need to be inside town. There's also garage with 24 hours security.

Comfortable safe stay with joyful smile

From pre booking to arrival check in and checkout Esther and Maria were very helpful in assisting in a pleasant and professional way. I was very grateful for the airport transportation assistance arrangement done by Esther which was done accurately and safely. Warmth welcome from the staff they even speak English and make sure that everything is up to your standards and liking during your stay in the hotel . Thank you Naranjo Team and hotel management for the hospitality assistance provided .

The hotel was clean and the staff was polite, but I was surprised that the room did not include an iron. I had to call the front desk and request one, which was inconvenient. An iron is a basic amenity that many guests expect to find in the room. I hope the hotel considers providing irons in all rooms to make the stay more comfortable and convenient.

The location was directly across from Basilica. The property itself room 107 very clean and everything works, good hot water. It’s a bit noisy but I can sleep with noise. There is not much to do around area. There is a great super busy authentic restaurant across street from main entrance of church, soo good. I took an uber to Monkeyland about 15 min away, Leo took me there and then airport all for $70! Leo Uber/Taxi 1-849-409-3338
