“Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again...

The waiter could not adequately explain the pricing and I think we were charged double because we shared appetizers and mains (I think they charged per person even if you shared plates). “Der Besitzer war sehr nett , hilfsbereit und bemüht , das sehr gute Frühstück zuzubereiten! Das B&B liegt unweit der Fußgängerbrücke zur Innenstadt. Insgesamt eine schöne Übernachtung! Toll war auch , dass man eine „permit“ zum Parken direkt vor dem Haus bekommt.”

At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out.
