“The room was pretty clean except the bathroom was dirty. I’m not generally fussy about a hair or some one thing. But the floor was visibly covered in hair and toothpaste on the floor near the sink. Toilet paper scraps by the toilet. It was clear it had not been swept/mopped before we arrived. When I reached out via the Expedia app (because that’s how they contacted us), I received no response.”

“It was cleaned and nice, but a little further from highway than expected.”

“We discovered Lakehouse Inn last month and have already returned. The property is immaculate, and the rooms are spotless and offer every comfort. The location has all you could need, and you don’t have the noise or impersonal feel of a chain hotel. The staff are super helpful and personable, and communication prior to arrival is great. The Lakehouse Inn is a good value and a great place to stay.”

“I will absolutely be back. The staff was fantastic and the charm of the hotel cannot be beat!”

“Cockroaches”

“The room was very large with a ceiling fan, both were a surprise to find and very welcome,”

“Good location and great owners”

“Not sure how this gained 7.8 star ratings, but this was nowhere near 7.8 stars. The selections for breakfast were disgusting. There really wasn’t anything to eat other than a bagel and a tiny yogurt cup. Will not be staying here again.”

“Heat not working in room.”

“Great buy for the money. Clean room. Bed was a bit tired. No soap for the shower, only hand soap. Took 15 minutes to get checked in, as the printer was not working and the nice lady was waiting to get me to sign a contract. Never worked.”

“It was ok for the price. Parking lot needs a major make over. The rain showed pot holes everywhere! Fairly clean, shower leaked. Room small!”
