โOK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra ยฃ50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. โArrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away.
Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasnโt an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as.
I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. โ
โStayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk.
Hotel is above a pub though thereโs a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.
Would recommend if youโre near by.โ
โNice little pud with very nice staff, rooms could do with a bit of updating but itโs priced for what it is and the breakfast was excellent, staff all very helpful. โ

โLoveley size room but very dated. Bathroom was very shabby. Enjoyed sitting by the lake having a drink. Loverly hotel by the lake but in massive need of updating.โ
โThe property was easy to get to via cab, I would not advise you to try and walk it as the road gets busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was large and spacious, only thing I didnt like was the room had no AC, but a Dyson fan was in full use.
The room had no fridge to put your water or drinks, no complementary biscuits, or herbal teas.
Other wise I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.โ
โRegular visitor and love the spacious and individuality of the rooms. It also means we can stay without having to have an accessibility room as have walk in shower and plenty of room for walkers etc. Service always exceptional and go the extra mile. Food is also delicious! Great area to walk the dog.โ
โJack checked us in and was really helpful. Staff are all so polite and friendly. Bar and restaurant staff work very gard and are really attentive. Would hughly recommend.โ
