We traveled to the Lake House property to view the eclipse on April 8, 2024. The Ranch was on the path of totality. It was perfect for our family and friends. The surroundings are beautiful with lush green trees, grass, and wildflowers. The house is equipped with all the amenities that one would want. The beds were comfy. It's quiet and peaceful and private (except for the occasional train but that is to be expected in a rural location like this). We used the field next to the house to view the eclipse and it was perfect. If we were ever in the area again, we would definitely stay at the Lake House again.
Stayed 2 nights in Apr 2024
