Hom-gol, Imsil hotel rooms at the Independent

"It was a wonderful stay. The place is perfectly maintained; it’s a lovely, typical (as I understand) hanok. The person who checks you in, I’m guessing the owner, is wonderful. I had a great sleep. The homemade tea and breakfast were incredible. Location-wise, it’s right there — the village is not big, and this stay is right on the main street. I loved every minute of my stay here. Thanks, Mr. B!"

"You have to self check in. I was lucky 2 local ladies helped me. One of them called the reception and the receptionist just gave the lady the padlock numbers to open my room door. And the walkway outside the room is muddy. Not a well maintain hanok. This is not the first hanok I stayed in Jeonju. I will not come back to this hanok again. "
