"We stayed for 3 nights while transiting through London. It was convenient for us as we were visiting relatives who lived in a nearby town and we could also enjoy the theater and London. The hotel is very close to terminal 5 and is connected via the Heathrow Pod and a local bus which stops about 100m from the hotel. The bus runs on a pretty regular schedule and costs £1.75 each way. The rooms are pretty comfortable. The breakfast was nice, a hearty English breakfast. The only downside, this hotel has no elevator, so if booking request a room on the ground floor. All in all, it worked for us and we would definitely stay here again."

"Front of house staff were best thing about the hotel. Decor was outdated & bed sheets smelt. The gym was the worst gym I’ve ever been to, wasn’t even x2 of some of the weights. Really needs addressing if the hotel is advertising a gym as an facility"

"Room was clean and well appointed. Excellent sound insulation. Bed good but pillows a little hard. Breakfast fin. Brasserie bar gets very busy in the evening. Parking very reasonably priced. "

"Unfortunately we solely chose this hotel to enjoy the pool for our son’s first swim. We have a 2 month old and a 2 year old. Having previously stayed at the Grand in Eastbourne the pool temperature had been brilliant for young children and imagined this would be similar. When we got in the pool it felt very cool, I asked the staff member if the temp could be turned up and we were informed the boiler was broken. It was too cold for our 2 month old to safely enjoy. The next morning we returned with our 2 year old for a swim in a thermal swim outfit so she could stay in longer but the pool was even colder! Despite essentially having a wetsuit on she didn’t last long on the pool and we had to leave. It was really disappointing we weren’t notified of this in advance as we simply would not have spent the money on this stay without being able to use the pool. It was an early Mother’s Day treat for me and it was ruined a bit by this and the poor service we received at dinner (feedback sent separately). We had expected a lot more…"

"Nice spa, nice renovations, shame the steam room wasn't working. The mens showers were cold. But other than that this was a nice hotel experience. The bedroom was a little small but well kept. The bar area and restaurant was well appointed and you can see nice refurbishment work had happened. The breakfast was excellent and worth the money. The location was quite good to access town with a short walk."
