Great family stay

We had an amazing stay at The George. The hotel is stunning and the staff are amazing. We had a very nice family room and the breakfast was incredible. We can't wait to visit again.

Great hotel but busy road over night.

A great place to stay located centrally for Hathersage. Plenty of parking. Our room was fantastic with space for three adults to share. Staff lovely. Good breakfast options. The downside was the very noisy, busy road that kept us wake as we needed windows open due to the heat. And then a loud banging noise (probably water pipes) started at about 5am. So not the best nights sleep.

Had a great stay. The room was comfortable and all the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal that was excellent as was the breakfast. A great location for exploring the Peak District. We will definitely be back.

We had a relaxing visit to The George, loved our room and the layout. We were able to sit and enjoy a drink and enjoyed two amazing meals and breakfasts. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely rooms, spacious and within walking distance to all of Hathersage including the pool. We also ate at The George in the evening and had breakfast included - the food was great. We would definitely come again!
