아침에 공항 빨리 가야하면 이용하기 좋은 호텔
공항에서 멀기 때문에 택시타고 가야하고 아침에는 6파운드 내면 픽업서비스를 해줌. 근처에 마트나 뭐 할게 하나도 없고 그냥 시골동네임. 커피포트 있지만 커피포트에서 불순물이 계속 나와서 끓여먹을 수가 없었지만 호텔 주인분이 바꿔주시기도 하고 친절하심.방은 대체적으로 무난하나 욕실 물이 잘 안빠지는 게 단점이었음.

깔끔하고 나쁘지 않은 객실, 편리한 공항 이용.
공항에서 가깝다는 점이 최대 장점입니다. 물론 걸어서 갈 수는 없지만 버스로 2-4정거장이면 개트윅공항의 남쪽, 북쪽에 모두 갈 수 있습니다. 시내와는 거리가 꽤 되서 1시간-1시간 반 정도가 소요되지만, 공항을 이용하는 것이 목적이라면 괜찮은 선택이 될 수 있습니다.

Due to Covid and having to self isolate for 14 days on our arrival back to Canada, We decided in April to cancel the two rooms booked. We corresponded with Expedia and through them were advised that we would not be refunded. As we did not stay at the hotel we can’t really review. But we were disappointed that they did not even offer a partial refund - given the circumstances

Like home
All the staff here were so helpful and friendly. They truly want to make your stay as pleasant as possible which I greatly appreciated. I loved the breakfast in the morning and the sticky toffee pudding warmed me up on my solo stay here. If you like warm friendly smiles, this is the place for you!

Second stay in the space of a month. Just as good leaving as arriving. This time we used the airport pick up service, fast efficient and very easy. We also used the restaurant this time. We had a great meal. And the same as last time the staff were terrific. Just areal nice place to stay.

Room is spotless, but I found it too warm . Opened a window, as I couldn’t find a way to lower the heat . Food is wonderful in the dining room and the shuttle is handy Easy walking distance to Horley train station
Highly recommend the chicken and leek pie

Fantastic Service
My only complaint was lack of heat in the room. The service was amazing, the lady on the front desk even helped us with our luggage then next morning drove us to the airport. Will stay there again

A lot worse than before
I could touch both sides of the room. Double bed possibly a 3/4 and no side tables, no place to put luggage no place to open luggage. The only plus was that it was clean. washbasin was no bigger than a dog's bowl and there was no het in the bathroom. If you are on your own and are on a quick stay over between flights, it's fine, anything else it's a disaster. The dinning room had three four tops and one two top and it took well over an hour to get our meal so much so we complained twice. The soup was awful offering half on inch in a two and a half inch bowl. It tasted like washing up water. My wife and I have stayed here before and it was a notch better than acceptable but this time it had gone down hill so much so we will never return. Outside our room were trolleys full of linens, towels all sitting in a damp atmosphere.

Check in was a breeze and the gentleman at the counter even got me all set up from my ride to the airport. It’s also nice to have bar where you can have dinner.

It was wonderful! We loved our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. We even had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good!

charmant petit hôtel très proche de l’aéroport
Séjour court mais efficace. Navette 6 livres par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un départ en famille très matinale (10 mn Max vous êtes à l’aéroport) Nous avons mangé le soir de notre arrivée dans cet hôtel cosy et nous ne l’avons pas regretté.

Couldn’t regulate shower water it was to hot.. no shelves in bath room or hook on door so cloths had to go on floor.... bedroom no mirrors only small one in bathroom..., bed very comfortable & clean.. excellent breakfast.. good value & 4 mins to Gatwick airport.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. The standard double was a good size with all the amenities you’d expect in a hotel (TV, tea/coffee, extra pillows). The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel bar, both excellent! We went back to stay another night on the way back to Gatwick Airport. Thank you 😊

Excellent little hotel. Clean and comfortable. Good price a nice bar on site. Friendly staff, an early check in available after a tram Atlantic flight. Also very cheap shuttle to the airport. We would use this hotel again in a heartbeat .

Would not recommend
Horrible. Sound proofing is very bad - could hear someone in the next room urinating quite loudly, and anyone who walks past with a suitcase will wake you up. The room was extremely hot, to the point that I had to leave the external front door open for a few minutes to cool it down. The bathroom fan is very loud when you turn the light on and stays on for a long time. The beds were not very comfortable. The hotel looks much better on the website than in reality. The hotel parking is not free. When I questioned this with the receptionist, he who took delight in telling me it was in the small print and if I did not want to pay the c.£7 I could park away from the hotel. The information about having to pay for parking could only be found on the website by clicking more than one link to scroll down, then clicking a link to a new page, then scrolling down (again involving more clicks to access more information) - see for yourself. There seemed to be an element of pride in hiding this information when they could just state "parking fees applicable" instead of "parking available" and "self-parking" under amenities. Aside from my gripe about the parking, the hotel is simply not very good for a night's sleep before an early flight. I am flying again from Gatwick in June and will just make the early morning drive instead.

Booking in was good. My flight was an 8 hour one so i requested a coffee, i was forgotten & it was not busy i was the only one checking in. In the evening i went up to the bar, i had been seen by the staff, i had to ring a bell, again it was not busy, i waited close to 10mins after ringing the bell a second time, the male server had an accent, was void of personality or hospitality.

Clean, tidy and great food. A pleasant surprise!
This hotel is remarkably good for the price. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and condition of the Hotel. The Bar was noce and cosy with great food. All in all I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Boutique style B &B ok for the price
Ok place . Very conveniently located to Gatwick airport. The room was ok. The single bed not very comfortable. The walls are paper thin so very disturbed sleep hearing other people in the rooms opposite making noise, ruining my sleep until 1:30 am . My flight was very early morning had to leave at 4am . So kind of defeated the object of why I booked this hotel . But can’t fault the service and the taxi shuttle service they offer to the airport which only takes about 6 or 7 minutes.

Overnight stay
Stayed overnight in preparation for flight from gatwick. The shuttle service the hotel provides is excellent. The staff werr friendky at the hotel. Found the food pricey however, the portions were quite big so i guess this reflected the price. The accomodatuon eas comfortable and clean. Accomodation met our needs. Will definitely use again

BIG SIGH.
Honestly am never one to complain. I’m someone that works in customer service, so I get it... There are rules and people are frustrating BUT this place. JESUS! I didn’t think racism would exist across the pound but my, my, my... I can’t imagine it were anything else. We added an extra person last minute to our trip and it was booked for 3. So no big deal, extra person wasn’t sleeping in our room or at all. Just wanted to drink. This woman was so adamant about him not being able to go to the room with us to leave his luggage in there while my sister and I slept (took a power nap) our flight was at 3:30 AM and we checked in at 11:30. She informed them that their bar was open “late late” and then closed it down after ONE BEER. They could have just gone to another bar up the road.... she was seriously so rude I almost flipped! But anyway, we checked out an hour and 20 minutes after arriving and preferred to not sleep at all and went ahead and went to the airport.
