Stayed at the Huttons Hotel for an overnight work trip to London. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Victoria (quiet, in London? Yes it was)
The hotel was easy to find and the reception staff were attentive, friendly and helpful - I needed a fan for my room as I was quite warm, the concierge sorted this very quickly, and cleaned it before giving it to me.
I can't comment on breakfast as I didn't take any, but the room was large, airy, clean and the bed was the comfiest I have ever had in a hotel (I stay in 2 - 3 per month, 9 months of the year, so I know a comfy bed). I had a ground floor room, which I was concerned about at first with the noise, but the area was quiet and I was able to sleep with the window open.
The hotel, overall, could do with some updating. Some of which appears already happening under the new owners - the beds for one - which arguably is the post important.
Some of the finishings (bathroom) aren't show room quality (paint marks, misaligned tiles, VERY high toilet...), but they aren't a showstoppers. The TV screen for the room was very small, but did have Netflix so win some, you lose some.
Despite all the negative comments on other review sites and here, you can tell that the new owners are putting in a lot of effort in to upgrade and improve the hotel. If I am in the area again, I would have no qualms about booking this hotel again.
