"Room was clean, sufficient. Pool was clean and hot tub was nice. Very close to Disney, only a 3 minute walk."

"Two of the staff were very helpful & offered great customer service. No housekeeping services took place for my room in 4 days. Lady at desk had an unwilling & weary attitude regarding my check out need the night before I was to check out. Meanwhile, her coworker who was graciously helping someone else on the phone, tried to help me too. He even apologized afterward for not being able to help. He should definitely be working at a classier motel. Multiple graffiti messages were scratched into the inside of the elevator. The floor was badly scuffed in more than one area. Pressing the elevator button inside to the needed floor & then the close door arrow button of the elevator works best. Caution tape and orange cones stretched across the broken concrete steps. Someone shoved the cones aside and ripped down the caution tape. Sadly guests still attempted to use these steps regardless of the obvious risk. I preferred the elevator. My room had a gap in the front door which allowed air through.Since nights are cool, bring a blanket. Motel 6 Maingate provides sheets & bed spread Exchanging my malfunctioning key card, the front desk told me the trick to get the door open. While swiping the key card, pull & then push while turning the door knob to get in your room. It proved to be helpful. I appreciated the self serve & pay gift shop’s refrigerated food items but even though it has a microwave, there are no paper plates to place your items on to cook & bring to your room."

"the standard room with 2 queen beds had no drawers to put clothing. Also all the door are extremely heavy and slam closed when anyone comes or goes…so loud and hard it would shake the bed. there was also some sort of sensor on the wall that kept flashing on and off. very annoying and if you have difficulty sleeping or a light sleeper i would skip staying here. staff all nice"

"The Viv definitely took care of us during our most recent Anaheim trip. With our busy weekend, I just wish we had more time to take advantage of the amenities they had to offer. Our room was immaculate, and the few staff interactions that we had were all top notch. The proximity to Disneyland is a plus, especially since we had our own car. Just be aware that you'll be charged the usual parking fee, and a destination fee based on the length of your stay. With the swanky vibe and the stellar service, we look forward to staying at The Viv again in the future!"

"We stayed here for our 3-day high school graduation trip. With us parents plus two teens and a 10 year old, the suite with king size bed and full size bunk beds was adequate. For us, the best parts about the hotel were it’s location- safe walking distance to Disney and stores like CVS; the breakfast each morning which featured eggs and sausages along with cereal, breads, oatmeal, waffles, juices, yogurt and fruits; and the pool (shaded) and hot tub. Hugely varied room service with no delivery fee was a plus too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Downsides were barely enough parking in the garage, loud refrigerator in the room, and bright light from outside in the bunk bed area (kids didn’t mind). Also, a Disney shuttle would have been amazing, but walking worked out. We would definitely recommend this place and stay there again!"
