“We rented a luxury apartment. It had a spacious living area with all you need for self catering. Housekeeper there to welcome us and show us to the room. Like the fact you can have your apartment serviced - clean towels etc. If you have a car there are reserved spaces out the back in the car park. Only negatives were the apartment we rented was on the top floor (three flights of stairs) - no lift. So with heavy baggage it’s hard work but not a real problem for us. Bedroom is very small and...

Downstairs is a no-frills pub with good bar meals in the evening. Separate breakfast room for the mornings. I had a spacious ensuite room upstairs. Nothing special, but comfortable and worth the money that I paid. I would stay here again.”

“Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was odd to get to going up the stairs then down the stairs. No A/C so windows open… except open to a bar right outside which was loud until 3am. Yikes. Wonderful location next to the promenade and shops. Good food options around too. TV was small. Bar area had broken drafts for the beer. Breakfast was so/so but they would make you eggs however you’d like fresh, so that was nice.”

The convenience to the ferry terminal was great as was the access to the bus. The breakfast basket was as comprehensive as we have ever had and satisfied our requirements excellently. “I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels.”

“Loved the comfy bed and ease back down to the Prom! We walked to Queen for dinner and parked the rental without problems!! We did fine with many flights of stairs. Great location!!!!”

“Receptionist on check in was not friendly and did not explain where breakfast was held, breakfast times, if I wanted dinner reservations etc. It was all robotic - sign here and basically give me your payment. So as a first impression from a long journey not great. Room had suitable amenities. Kettle, biscuits, hairdrier. Shower very powerful. Bed comfy. Breakfast good selection. Staff friendly and efficient in the breakfast area. Hotel clean.”

“The opel express was very clean and the breakfast very good with plenty of choice the room had excellent amenities provided ,with a kettle in room and tea coffee and water topped up daily, only saw staff at breakfast and checkout, it was self check in with key to room left in a safe, the room did have a ceiling fan which was very noisy and could only use with the light on, I was there during a very hot period so not much comfort throughout the night, the view from the room was not good looking...

“I went for business trip. So I didn't experienced the Casino and around of the Hotel. I think this hotel is good at for short travel. The room is clean, bathroom is convient for shower. Free Wifi can be used for 2 computer/room. However the eating included in dinner and breakfast in the hotel is normal.”
