“Kim was fantastic and cheerful to chat to each morning. Location of guesthouse very good and close to golf club and platform 1864 restaurant. Nice coffee and continental breakfast. Had trouble getting out of bathroom wirh wet hands and circular door handle . I left towel outside like silly sod lol.”
“Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed.”
“If you are looking for a simple clean well fitted room then the west end is perfect
Self service check in so I did not see any staff
Cleaning fine and was helpful with more tea bags
Outside grounds need work to tidy up but everything inside in good condition
Full breakfast available if you wish to book
I have stayed several times
Never anything amiss”
“DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and...
“Lift was not working but hotel did advise us ahead of stay which was nice, in case we wanted to switch. No A/C in hotel room, so it was a bit too warm and hard to sleep, even with a small fan. Otherwise, staff, hotel, room and grounds were lovely.”
“Tuckers Inn is a must stay if you want to enjoy the area and have a easy launch point for Lochness and Iverness.
The food is excellent and the staff is very attentive!
We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning in the near future!”
“Pleasant traditional Highland Hotel.
Friendly and efficient check in.
Bar well stocked with pleasant adjoining lounge.
The venison dinner special was excellent.
A good stopping point on way north .”
“This place is amazing! The cottage is so lovely, has everything you need and there was even a little welcome basket of coffee and snacks for us! The kids had the best time playing on the beach! We are so happy we chose to stay here. A short drive to inverness and located the cutest little village. If you stay here go to the cheese pantry! We had the most amazing stay with our family including 3 little kids! Also the most amazing sunsets! We literally would live here if we could!”
“This bed and breakfast is an absolute hidden gem. The room was beautifully presented with cute armchairs, good storage and comfortable beds. Helen was amazing - she provided tea and coffee in the room, her breakfast was absolutely divine and extremely well organised, and the location was within walking distance to the beach and the main town. A really exceptional option for anyone visiting Inverness, Culloden or the Clava Cairns.”
“The room was acceptable, the restaurant was fine, and most of the staff were pleasant (including the owner). The problem came when I asked for change for a 20 pound English note so I could leave a tip after I paid for dinner. The change I was given was Scottish currency. I was told that English currency was not available. And while it may have the same value as English currency, it is not readily accepted in other parts of the UK or in overseas territories. I had a bit of a disagreement over...
“Went to check in.
Staff asked for name then took key and took us to the room. Then left without any explanation or instructions. So poor communication when checking in. When checking in we stood at bar next to the radio which was very loud and I am deaf and couldn't hear or understand the staff.
Staff rushed to the room before we got to bottom of the stairs.
Stairs are very steep and wonky which is very dangerous but not good for people who are unsteady on their feet.
Room:
Big room and big...
