Well parking was far from cabin had to care in Stuff down bad stairs cabin was well equipped and clean but close together but privacy outside was bad Beach area right in front of outside area and everyone who use canoe had to cross in front of our cabin fire pits to close together so didn’t sit outside or have fire view of lake was nice from window don’t think I would go again there sorry it is more for kids and dogs if you don’t care that you are close together

Love it here

Great spot on a quiet lake. Close to trails and towns. Has all the comforts of home and dog friendly. Owners are lovely. This was a return trip, and have already booked a fall get away.

Decent spot in muskoka!

Overall the stay was good. The location is great. The cabin was quaint and comfortable. It was close to everything. The lake is beautiful. We met some cool people staying beside us. The price was right. The only thing is it is close to the road and traffic is constant. The owners were pleasant and nice. We would definately recommend and return.

Cozy & clean cottage by the lake we had boats available at the cottage to do boating, swam in the lake fully equipped kitchen drove nearby to picturesque towns hiking trails were nearby & did star gazing at night to watch comets & Milky Way loved the cottage will surely go back again the best part it’s dog friendly & our dog was super happy would give it 5 stars

This was a very nice property. Owners were very nice. My girlfriend and I stayed for a week and enjoyed the cabin. It was small which is understandable and we came during a hot week which made the cabin stuffy so bring fans if you have them. Free paddle and row boat use. Also no laundry except for the laundromat in Bala. Tap water is yellow. All in all, a great location and a great price. Will stay there again.

Affordable Great family getaway!

The total stay is great!!! The cottage is old but very functional, our Cabin#10 is newly painted 2-bedroom. Beds are old, one bed needs mattress replacement which can be done anytime by the owners. The owners are very nice.

Great weekend getaway

Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. Clean small pet friendly cabin with lake views, own fire pit and bbq, fridge, stove, cooking vessels etc..just pack a cooler. Easy access to local towns, provincial park, hiking trails if that's your thing, or just chill on the dock.

I loved that it was right on the lake. The fire pit was great we had a fire every night of our stay. Cottage was small but efficient. We went canoeing, paddle boating and fishing. It was a lovely time. The only downfall to the property was the noise of traffic from the highway. This didn't spoil our stay.

Overall a wonderful experience. This was our third year here and it continues to impress. This year we stayed in a different cabin, the previous two were in a different cabin. The only feedback I have would be regarding the bed and pillows. The bed was very hard and dated. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable.
