โThe staff at the check in desk were so very helpful with arranging rooms closer together for my friend and I. They did it all with great humor. They answered all our questions about Uber, restaurants near the Civic Center, and helped me get signed into WiFi. The room was so spacious and clean and the bathroom was huge. One suggestion I have is to put grab bars in the shower, especially for those of us who arenโt as agile as we used to be. โ
โThis was great with a buddy. Itโs downtown Des Moines. Short walk to farmers market on Saturday morning. Took a walk by myself in the afternoon, not smart. Use the buddy system. Itโs a big old beautiful city.โ
โDidnโt expect to pay a $30 charge for parking my vehicle. Seems excessive since the parking spots are packed in like sardines. Other than that the room was great. Very clean and spacious โ
