I Poggi, Castiglione del Lago hotel rooms at the Relais & Chateaux

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Umbria. The hotel was beautiful! The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. My husband and I spent one night at Residenza dei Ricci last weekend and cannot wait to return. It is ideally situated for exploring Chiusi and the surrounding area. Beautiful property, rooms were spacious and well appointed. Staff were wonderful and helpful, Paolo welcomed us and provided many helpful recommendations on restaurants and sites nearby. Breakfast was delicious, pasteries and bread freshly baked and staff very welcoming. Loved our stay.

Absolutely Stunning! The grounds and rooms are first class! The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects during the stay. Peaceful and serene is an understatement. Food and breakfast at the resort is top notch. Other dining options near the resort are amazing. Al Baciamano and Seven Cafe are great stops. Close enough to Tuscany day trips. Will definitely stay again and share with friends looking for a relaxing first class stay and amenities.

Very beautiful property and nicely decorated rooms that were welcoming and relaxing. Staff were very professional and also very helpful. Nice outdoor space to enjoy a relaxing coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Also great restuarant that had a tradional menu in addition to great grilled options. The grilled lamb was excellent. Atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommened.

We were the only guests for 2 nights out of 3, at this lovely B&B on the estate of one of the best wineries in Tuscany. We had sumptuous room with a living room, bedroom and bathroom (nice shower!) all to ourselves. The staff were local women, who made a wonderful breakfast every day and told us of the life in Tuscany. We had a lovely 5 night stay at La Sovana in their apartment complex. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath with kitchen. It was the perfect set up for 2 couples to share. My only wish was that it included a washer/dryer set up. Laundry is available for a fee which we did use but it would be nice if there was washing capability in the apartment itself. We had an excellent stay at Morami Agriturismo. The kids loved the pool and we loved the wine and beautiful grounds. The area is very quiet but you are a close drive to some great towns and cities, including Castiglione del Lago and Perugia. We definitely recommend this place for a few relaxing days in a gorgeous part of Umbria.

We only stayed one night, wished we could have stayed longer, beautiful restored building overlooking a valley and great restaurant… Orlando, the owner was hands on all the time, food was superb…. Great location, it’s my second time to Citta della Pieve

I visited La Macerine with my wife and a couple of friends. The property is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, I met Stefano who was a terrific host, very helpful and pleasant! The location on the lake is just a beautiful setting. I highly recommend for anyone touring in this part of Tuscany and Umbria.

Very good location. Very clean. Nearby free parking. Breakfast was just okay. Too much unnecessary clutter and perfumery airfreshner smell in room in my opioion. Seemed totally unnecessary as rooms were spotlessly clean. Luggage rack in room would be helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet hotel even though on the main street of the castle area. Staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the price was a bargain. The room was quite small but there is a common area where we could hang out a couple of times. Parking is by the hour in the nearby area so recommend you get the parking app, which was also useful in other towns.

Great location. 10 minutes from Chiusi station. Staff was very pleasant and helpful at check in. Building and room were spacious and clean. Great spot!

We had a wonderful couple of nights at Hotel La Torre. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The rooms were large, comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. Breakfast was plentiful. We loved Castelioni del Lago - beautiful views, nice people and great little restaurants.
