โI canโt say enough good things about this place. Weโve been raving about it since we left, and will recommend to anyone going to Tuscany (Cortona as a whole, but ESPECIALLY Hotel Italia). We were a pair of 21-year-old girls travelling alone, and the staff made us feel safe, at-home, and empowered to ask questions and get acquainted with the area. โEs un edificio antiguo muy bonito, la habitaciรณn muy amplia, el baรฑo estaba arriba ( ya que habรญa escalera), lo cual no era conveniente. Pero es parte de la experiencia de estar en un lugar asรญ. El personal muy amable, el desayuno adecuado. El pueblo es bonito pero no hay mucho que hacer, lo tomamos de base para visitar Assisi, Pavia y otros cercanos. No hay estacionamiento pero te ayudan en cierto horario von un valet. Buena experiencia. โ
โExcellent hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff! The breakfast was delicious and our room was exceptional. If youโre not an experienced driver who is comfortable with steep, narrow Italian streets, I suggest leaving the car outside of the city walls before getting to the hotel. I will be returning to this hotel in the future and will make sure to try the spa!โ
โThis family owned hotel is amazing with kind service and incredible dinner. You should try the todayโs fixed dinner course with 29 euro. Each course is so delicious with their own winery wine. Super recommend. โ

โLa Chiusa was magnificent. Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove, caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back.โ
