"We booked the hotel without knowing it’s a five star hotel. It meets all the standards for a five star hotel - from staff, service, amenities to quality of bakery. We didn’t eat at any of their restaurants because there are many less expensive options near the hotel. Unlike the hotels in Osaka city center at similar price, our room is large and has a beautiful view of Osaka Jo Hall, the Osaka Castle and the big park around it. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again. "

"My wife and i had to book a room here due to a passport going missing while visiting a local attraction. The staff understood how stressful the situation was and went above and beyond to try to assist us. They even provided hot cookies to calm our nerves. "Staff was excellent and very nice, the rooms are small, but that is common in Japan, and the bed is very stiff not my preference but maybe people like that. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The location is excellent. You are right next to the train station. Three minutes walking you can connect from here to Kyoto in under an hour. Which is what we did we stayed here to save money on hotel and just took the train over only cost about three US dollars per person and you go one hour to Kyoto and spend the day there as well."
