I ended up sitting in lobby for 4 hours. Overall, the place was not very well kept. Room was rundown, and musty. Bathroom hasn't been fixed up in a decade, lots of stains and worn-out floors, tub, and room in general was low budget. Very noisy, from guests, car alarms going off. “Unique experience. A look at old Alaska and Juneau. I enjoyed it. Not a place for people with mobility issues for sure. The only down side wasn’t the hotel but the numerous cruise ships. Plan to do things as early as possible to avoid the crowds in the afternoon. Unless you like crowds.”

“The Landing Hotel is a good basic hotel. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. The location is about 2 miles from downtown Ketchikan but convenient to grocery stores, the airport, float plane services and the Alaska Marine Hwy Ferry. The diner in the hotel provides hearty breakfast options. ”
