"The staff were kind and helpful. The room we got was spacious and we enjoyed walking out on the deck, then down some steps to the beach. We could look right out at the beach and water, and family of ducks from our room. The choices for breakfast in a box were simple, yet nice including a water bottle. There was a spot to post a letter which saved me a trip to the post office. This location is 3 miles from the city shops, we liked that as it was less crowded than the main city beach front."

"Over all our experience was satisfactory but our check in was disappointing and left a bit of a sour note. The registration clerk insisted on seeing my husband as his name was on the reservation. When I explained he had a disability and it was difficult for him to get in and out of the car a number of times she persisted and finally acquiesced to seeing his driver license with same address as mine. She was far from friendly. Breakfast was great. Room clean and satisfactory but dark and made worse because light on desk was burned out. It was by then late and we didn't report it or ask for help. Would go back but with pre-established guidelines."
