Unfortunately they put us (family with 2 little kids) in a room with several spots of black mold. Service on-site tried to find another room, but no availability for our entire stay, so we needed to change hotel. Communication later has been terrible, management didn’t respond to my calls and e-mails and declined any responsibility through Expedia. staff was friendly and it’s a nice location. Please be aware that you need to budget in having breakfast off-site. The kids pool was filthy and you don’t want to swim there at all. We moved to Hotel Xaloc, it’s a little bit more costly, but breakfast is included and it’s way better maintained.

Todo excelente excepto que el personal del restaurante se comió el pastel que había solicitado me guarden en el refrigerador. En la recepción tuvieron que pagarme la mitad del pastel.

I almost canceled when I saw the negative reviews but Villas Tiburon is a lovely place. Beautiful gardens. adorable doggie and right on the beach. Yes they dont move the seaweed but I live in SD and Im use to seeing seaweed on the beach. Nice quiet place where you can just relax and enjoy- want more luxury then pay the other hotels around the area their price instead. I would recommend this hotel.

Love this Zen Dog Friendly boutique property. Staff is amazing. Beds are comfortable and even though it’s a eco-friendly resort, I never ran out of hot water or had an issue with electricity. Highly recommend

Sin duda la mejor opcion en Holbox, habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas. Excelente ubicacion para disfrutar de la playa y el mar. El personal muy atento y amable.

Nice out of the way escape
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. If you kitesurf, this is a great location with a 5 min walk to the kite launch location, but still walkable into town - maybe 15-20 mins. Several restaurants within a 5 min walk. Spaceous rooms. Beds a little firm for me, but that's a personal preference. Great beach. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nos encantó nuestra visita a Holbox Villas Tiburón es un lugar maravilloso con exactamente lo que buscábamos tener la cercanía a el mar y disfrutarlo totalmente. Es una Villa cuidadosa del medio ambiente en varios temas, lo que nos encantó, las habitaciones amplias y con todas las comodidades necesarias para estar a gusto. Limpieza y amabilidad de todo el personal, lo hacen a uno sentirse en casa. Nos guiaron en tours y todo lo que necesitamos, está en la zona más bella de la playa con mayor paz y tranquilidad. Really clean everything . reception people 5* . Julio from the bar and outdoor area Amazing 10* . Rooms: needs improvement , carpet beside bed need to go , dirty dirty . curtains r really old , so thing because of the sun , hard to sleep in . Pillows please upgrade them super old !! the room was super clean , also the bathroom with towels and shampoo and soap . Outdoor area 5* Overall Hotel is a 2 to 3* only because room inside needs an improvement asap!

The good: right on the beach. The bad: the beach had piles upon piles of sargassum. I didn't see anyone cleaning it, but I also understand that it's difficult to clean. We left the hotel and went to a cleaner area of the beach. Also, their pictures look way better than the facilities they provide. A cheaper hotel would have provided the same quality. Their pool is tiny. The terrible: The beds were hard as a rock, the floor was more comfortable than the beds.

No pudimos aprovechar las instalaciones
La limpieza no fue muy buena había cosas debajo de las camas, y algunas cosas sucias en todo el complejo, pero lo que menos nos gustó es que las albercas tenían el agua helada estaba el clima fresco y no pudimos entrar a las albercas por esta situación

Great staff very helpful and quick. Paul and Uwana were awesome and Lewis,Knox and Mara at the beach bar are the best ,they will make your relaxation experience on the beach unforgettable. Definitely will stay with them again.

Bueno y cómodo.
Esta cómoda y amplia la recámara. Está un poco deteriorada la pintura en algunas zonas. No conocí el Restaurante. Los empleados del hotel son muy amables.

I liked the place a lot. Very beautiful. My only objection is the information incomplete about a tour at 3:00 am . The staff did not mention that it did not included the ride back to the hotel. We found out at the end of the tour and had to walk back at 4:00 am
