“An absolute hovel and definitely the very worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy and disgusting. The pictures are very deceiving, because it looks inside more like a prison. The staff are rude and even during alleged reception opening hours we were told to use rear entrance. Travelled with my young daughter and felt very unsafe throughout our stay. We paid to stay for two nights but moved to a different hotel after the first sleepless night. Do yourself a favour and pay £20 more to stay...

“The hotel has a fantastic location right next to the canal, and the staff were very kind and attentive. However, accessing the elevator requires going up some stairs, which makes it less convenient for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Although I stayed in a Junior Suite, the canal view was not as good as expected, which was a bit disappointing.”

“The staff was absolutely incredible. Every time I went to the desk and I saw them helping other people just as well. My room had a magnificent view, and the breakfast was excellent with a rooftop patio and you could see the whole entire city. The hotel is a straight walk from the Central station although my GPS took me in circles a bit. It was really a straight walk.”
