“Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”

“This was the first stop on our Scotland trip and we were blown away! Amazing staff, beautiful clean rooms, amazing food and drink. I think what we liked best was the family feeling. Guests leaned in and talked to each other both on the patio and in the lounge. We felt more like house guest than hotel guests. Having dogs around seemed to be a nice ice breaker. We have recommended this gem of a place to everyone we meet. Go, stay, you will probably want to return!”

“Very comfortable, good view of the kyles of bute. Lovely breakfast including home-made jam and bread. Most helpful husband and wife team. Nothing was too much trouble for Gabor, who not only sorted out my TV problem but very kindly drove me to the start of my ramble. Highly recommended.”
