Mwezi has a lovely pool and excellent beach access and area right on the property. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Definitely treat yourself to a massage at a very reasonable price in a hut on the beach. Best massage ever, listening to the sound of the surf! We were lucky to be there on a night when they had a special buffet dinner with entertainment. A whole evening of excellent acrobatics and dance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Red Colobus Monkeys were in the trees right outside our cabin! A great resort . My only criticism is the American music blaring in the dining room and reception area. Either let guests enjoy the natural sounds or have African music in the background.
The best place we’ve ever stayed!!! We loved Mwezi - the hut was perfect for three, waking up each morning to palm trees, the sea and a beautiful pool! The kids loved the pool and the regular visit from monkeys. The food was great and the Swahili Dinner - make sure you stay on a Wednesday night - Zanzibar move are amazing!!! Perfect stay. We want to come back.
Check in was quick and easy with a welcoming drink. Cabin in the sand, facing the pool and ocean. Definitely a barefoot and sandals type of place. Very comfortable, clean, friendly staff, relaxed attitude. Plenty of loungers around the pool. Good beach for walking long distances, but not for swimming unless you have water shoes because of the coral. Ocean was too warm, much preferred the pool. Taxis were expensive to get from the airport to anywhere on the east coast or back to Old Town for a tour, but not much you can do about that. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax.
Mwezi Resort was amazing, best hotel we ever stayed at! Not to expensive but still feels like you are at a real luxury hotel!
10/10 and would recommend to everyone I know!
Men man føler virkerlig at the owner gør alt for stedet. Fantastisk sted, føler man bor ude i naturen.
Was manche stören dürfte:
