"The use of the term "Resort" to describe the property is really being stretched. You truly are in the middle of nowhere. The nearest grocery store is 42km away, which is unfortunate seeing as the restaurant, gas bar and onsite convenience store all close around 8PM. We had a colony of ants living in the closet of our suite, the basin was plugged, no shampoo or soap was provided either. Water pressure was a trickle in the shower anyway so i guess that's not such a big deal.....
No WIFI for most of the time we were there, it's like they turn it off. Sometimes great coverage, most times (85%) nothing.
When we did manage to eat at then restaurant, the prices were huge in comparison to what you got. $30 for nachos with beef, small plate, little beef and cheese, not a great look. The convenience store overcharged me for my purchase, and when I pointed out the error, i was given a song and dance about "well, taxes". I can do math there chum, $14 for 4 $2.50/each bottles of water doesn't quite add up. When we got home we found a credit card charge for double what I authorized when checking in, with no explanation given.
Not a great time unless you bring everything you could possibly need or are using the campground. If you're camping, you're most likely prepared to rough-it. Use that as motivation for staying at the lodge as well."
